A charming Maui family vacation cottage located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, Hale o ke Kai (which means House by the Ocean), is within easy walking distance of Mama's Beach (perfect for children), and surrounded by all of Maui's best North Shore beaches.
There is something for every type of beach lover within a 2 mile radius.... Windsurfing and surfing at world famous Ho'okipa Beach, snorkeling, swimming, beachcombing, and just plain relaxing in the Hawaiian sunshine at Baldwin Beach, Paia Bay, and Tavares Bay to name a few!
The spacious 3 bedroom cottage is set up as a vacation home for the owners, and is fully equipped with everything to make your vacation comfortable and relaxing.
It lends itself well to families with children. There is even a swing set in the backyard.
Two lanai (decks) are accessible out the living room and the Master Bedroom.
The yard is lush and private.... featuring tropical fruit trees, and exotic florals.
Hale o ke Kai is about a 10 minute drive from Kahului Airport.

| The friendly, casual, sea-side commumity of Kuau is actually a residential extension on the east side of Paia, about 10 minutes from Kahului Airport. The sea level climate is usually about 80 and sunny, kept cool by the trade winds. All of Maui's best variety of North Shore beaches are within walking distance or minutes drive. There are beaches for children, surfers, windsurfers, kitesurfers, snorkelers, shore-line fishermen and women, swimmers, or just plain lolly-gaggers.... and you are just outside the fun and interesting little town of Paia.
