Situated between Kanaha and Baldwin Beach Parks (and a tack or two from Camp One), our vacation rental suites offer windsurfers of all types the perfect place to enjoy the sport....and non-sailors the perfect place to relax. A beautiful soft sand shore line make for the perfect launch (or swim) site..... even in the highest winds. Many reef formations afford the intermediate and expert windsurfers plenty of "air time" opportunities! Just breathe it in.....the fresh Maui air....the clear turquoise water .....the warm glowing sand. Vacation Rentals Maui - style!
Ray's Friendly Beach is one of the largest homes on the street. This ensures exclusivity with room to breathe and privacy when you want it. A full size Queen bedroom, bright and clean bathroom and spacious living room are features of our vacation rental suite. A special and unique feature of Ray's Friendly Beach is the fabulous collection of original artworks by your host Ray Masters adorning the walls of the suite and downstairs gallery. The apartment is comfortably furnished and includes cooking facilities and equipment for all your daily needs. There is a convertible sofa in the living room to accommodate extra guests. Laundry and board storage facilities are provided together with digital cable TV, DVD, video and music systems and high speed wireless internet access. Step outside to your private patio and barbecue area or avail yourself of the large garden. Your board and sails...or golf clubs ....are always close to hand and ready for use. Or just take a walk (50 yards) down our private footpath to the friendliest little windsurfing beach on Maui.
North Shore Maui Vacation - variety!
Maui's North Shore is regarded as the quieter side of the island. But don't let this sentiment fool you. In addition to all of the usual outdoor activities, the area surrounding Ray's Friendly Beach boasts some of the best dining, entertainment and shopping on Maui. The picturesque old town of Paia is just minutes drive from Ray's and offers an eclectic mix of dining, bars, general stores, boutiques and gift shops. Equally nearby is Kahului which features the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center shopping mall, lots of restaurants and many of the usual stores found on the mainland. In contrast, a visit to the Kahului Flea Market will always unearth unusual items and bargains. The towns of Wailuku and Makawao are also close by for more shopping and entertainment choices.

In the mornings, the gentle slope of the white sand shoreline is perfect for a walk down to Kanaha Beach Park or up to Sugar Cove. If you like to bike, roller blade or run, there's a bike path which stretches the length of Stable Rd. to the town of Kahului. The shallow, warm waters of Maui are a favorite of hunchback whales with boat charters available to get you up close.
Hanawai Unit
| The Hanawi suite is located on the upper floor of the main house. This spacious suite comprises of a large living room/dining area with fully equipped kitchen. Everything is included to allow you to prepare the most lavish or simple meals. A special and unique feature of the Hanawi is the fabulous collection of original artworks and prints by famed artist and co-host Ray Masters. The queen bedroom and adjoining bathroom are also bright and roomy. Both main rooms have large glass sliding doors which open onto the large private patio. Here you can cook on your own charcoal barbeque, eat or just relax while enjoying beautiful ocean and mountain views. The Hanawi has been recently upgraded with wireless high speed internet access. New entertainment equipment includes digital cable and DVD player. And don't forget our kayaks, boogie boards, bikes and foosball table! Ray's Friendly Beach windsurfing vacation rental suites are located on Stable Road - a small private paved road off the Hana Highway. Please be aware of the speed bumps ......and the many pedestrians and cyclists. The Stable Road turnoff is about half way between Kahului and Paia - 10 minutes drive - and about a 30-40 minute drive from Maui's south and west coasts. The famous road to Hana contiues on to the fabled Seven Sacred Pools and takes about 2 hours to navigate. |

Spreckelsville is well known for its wind and waves, all
properties are located near the end of the Kahului Airport runway. There
is airport noise during take-off periods at this area.
